
Odunlade Adekola
Odunlade Adekola, a Nigerian actor, singer, filmmaker, producer, and director, was born on December 31, 1976.
He rose to fame and became well-known for playing the lead in Ishola Durojaye's 2003 film, Asiri Gomina Wa, and has subsequently appeared in several Nollywood productions. He founded and serves as the company's chief executive officer (OAFP).
Early Life
Adekola is from Otun Ekiti, in Ekiti State, but he was born and raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Education
Odunlade Adekola attended St. John's Primary School and St. Peter's College in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where he also earned his West African School Certificate.
Then, he went to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), where he got a degree.
Odunlade kept going to school, and in May 2018, he got a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Lagos.
Career
Odunlade Adekola joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners in 1996, the same year he started his acting career.
Over the years, he has appeared in, written the scripts for, produced, and directed a number of Nigerian films.
Adekola earned the African Movie Academy Award for the year's best actor in April 2014.
He made his debut on the Nigerian music scene in December 2015. Pictures of Odunlade taken while filming are frequently used on Nigerian websites as memes.
Odunlade Adekola was appointed the brand ambassador for RevolutionPlus Property Development Company on September 17th, 2018.
