Despite the criticism she has received, Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has persisted in advocating for the re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as governor of Lagos State on behalf of the APC.
The mother of one, who has not wavered in the face of any criticism, hinted on Twitter a few hours ago that Lagos state is somehow connected to her achievement.
"Lagos State, where as an Edo girl, I became a millionaire. Sanwo Once Again. A Sanwo Eko. a good governor. It's my decision," she tweeted.
It may be recalled that Toyin Abraham faced backlash on social media after publicly endorsing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect.
Some of her supporters even threatened to avoid seeing her movie in theaters.
In response to all of the complaints, Toyin Abraham stated that she had made her decision about a presidential candidate voluntarily and had not been pressured to support or vote for any party.
Additionally, she hinted in her mother tongue a few days ago that if she was paid to cast a vote, the preferences of her followers would matter to her. She prayed for protection from death as well.
