Singer Ayra Starr responds to a Twitter user who compares her to Beyoncé

Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, a fast-rising Nigerian musician, responded to a trending tweet that compared her to Beyoncé.

According to a Twitter user, the Mavins singer, who is currently one of Nigeria's hottest female singers, is quickly overtaking American diva Beyoncé.

Ayra Starr is gradually taking Beyonce's place.

Ayra Starr responded, noting with a hint of cynicism how the Twitter user was positioning her for drags.

Beyonce's ardent supporters, referred to as Beyhives, are notable for the fact that they do not disparage their idol and do not support comparisons. Any famous person who is likened to Queen B constantly gets viciously dragged.

Ayra Starr wrote, "Una go just dey set me up for draggings lol," out of fear of her admirers dragging her.
