Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has tooted her own horns.
As her latest movie, Ijakumo finally comes to the end of it’s cinema run, Toyin Abraham took to her Instagram page to reflect on its success.
Ijakumo grossed 278 million, which is more than her previous movie, Ghost and The Tout Too grossed.
Noting the improvement, Toyin bragged about how she has consistently broken her own records over the last 5 years. She noted how she broke many records for an indigenous movie rated 18 and pushed the ceiling and the world was proud of her.
The mother of one stated that she isn’t about to stop now as she is coming back to the cinema with another blockbuster.
“We have finally come to the end of the cinema run with Ijakumo and we closed with 278 Million.
We broke many records for an indigenous movie rated 18. We pushed the ceiling and the world was indeed proud of us.
To all our viewers in USA, UK, Ghana and Nigeria that went to the cinemas we say a big thank you.
I have consistently broken my own records over last 5 years; and I don’t intend to stop now. We go again in December 2023! Coming back to the cinemas and we hope to enjoy your support again as we return with another blockbuster you don’t want to miss it.

Toyin Abraham jubilates as Ijakumo grosses N136 million in 11days
Weeks back, despite the poor reviews and heaven criticism on her movie, Ijakumo, Toyin Abraham soared high.
After announcing that she is taking the movie to UK cinemas, Toyin shared the good news of Ijakumo’s achievement.
An excited Toyin revealed that Ijakumo had broken her last record as it hits 136 million in just 11 days, for a movie rated 18.
Noting how she made a national treasure with her new movie, the wife of Kolawole Ajeyemi wrote,
“I have broken my last record. Thanks to everyone who has seen Ijakumo.
